eXch denies allegations of involvement in the laundering of stolen funds by Bybit
Internet reports that non-KYC centralized exchange eXch denied allegations that it was involved in money laundering, even though blockchain analysis showed that ETH related to Bybit's stolen funds were transferred to eXch and its ETH reserves increased significantly over the weekend. eXch admitted handling some of the funds in "isolated cases" but refused to block the wallet address that Bybit marked as malicious, arguing that Bybit "actively undermined eXch's reputation." Blockchain analyst Nick Bax estimates that eXch processed approximately $30 million in transactions for North Korea in one day. In addition, eXch has recorded abnormally high ETH trading volume in the past 24 hours, reaching 20,000 ETH, compared with its normal trading volume of only 800 ETH.
