Opinion: BTC has not been affected by the collapse of U.S. stocks, which is a "strong signal" that the market sentiment is mature
Internet reports that as the U.S. stock market fell, the price of Bitcoin rose to around $86,800, rising 2.3% in the past 24 hours. Consider that the S & P 500, Nasdaq and Dow fell 3.35%, 3.5% and 3.27% respectively. The resilience of the cryptocurrency market deserves attention. Lawrence McDonald, a macroeconomic expert and former head of U.S. macro strategy at Industrial Bank, said that it may be time to sell gold and invest in Bitcoin instead. He posted on X: "Bitcoin has never performed so well with the Volatility Index (VIX) close to 30. Bitcoin's resilience will change the market landscape. This strongly suggests that the Bitcoin market is maturing (good news) and that the fiat currency is under tremendous pressure."
