According to industry sources, Huawei has been hoarding parts and the company aims to double smartphone shipments to 60 million to 70 million units next year.。Since earlier this year, Huawei has been increasing its inventory of lenses, cameras, printed circuit boards and other components to achieve this goal, according to multiple supply chain sources and analysts.。Huawei also asked Qualcomm, its only supplier of 4G mobile chips in the United States, to ship full-year orders by June.。Bryan Ma, vice president of device research at IDC, said: "Huawei's goals for the next two years are high, and we expect them to grow upward, supported by domestic demand, and Huawei may take some of China's high-end handset market share from Apple.。"
