ASIC 永久禁止 Equus 前董事进入金融服务行业

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has issued two orders permanently banning former Melbourne director Christopher David Nairn from engaging in the financial services and credit industries.

Mr. Nairn misappropriated over $650,000 of client funds by falsifying numerous documents with forged client signatures.

ASIC believes that Mr. Nairn's actions demonstrate a lack of honesty, integrity, professionalism, and credibility required to participate in the financial services and credit industries.

ASIC has permanently banned Mr. Nairn from providing any services related to the financial services and credit industries or performing any related functions. He is also prohibited from controlling entities engaged in financial services or individuals engaged in credit activities.

At the time of his misconduct, Mr. Nairn was a director of Equus Private Wealth Pty Ltd and an authorized representative under the Australian financial services license of Capstone Financial Planning Pty Ltd. From July 2011 to December 2014, Mr. Nairn was also a credit representative of Capstone.

Capstone is undertaking remediation for affected consumers.
