However, BYD's pursuit of international expansion has not been smooth, especially when it comes to entering large foreign markets such as Europe.。The company faces challenges such as sluggish market demand, excessive pricing and the speed of market share grabbing.。

Although BYD has conquered the electric car industry with a phenomenal growth rate in the domestic market, the company still faces some challenges。For example, mold problems caused by long-distance transportation of some imported vehicles and a backlog of thousands of vehicles in European warehouses。

BYD's previous target of selling 400,000 vehicles outside of China by 2024 now looks to be a bit more difficult to achieve, mainly due to slowing global EV sales growth。The company's sales in Europe, one of its biggest export markets, are still below internal targets.。

However, in countries such as Thailand and Brazil, BYD has become the sales champion of electric vehicles and has performed well in the Australian market.。With BYD opening new plants in these countries, as well as in Uzbekistan and Hungary, its overseas business is still expected to continue to grow.。
