On February 19, Chinese automaker BYD officially launched the glory version of its compact sedan destroyer 05。The last update to Destroyer 05 was last August, following the announcement last April.。The original Destroyer 05 was launched in 2021。In this latest update, six different configurations are available, and the prices of the new models range from an impressive 79,800 yuan ($11,000) to 128,800 yuan ($17,900)。The updated version offers two pure walking range options: 55 km electric and 120 km (based on NEDC standards)。
In addition to the launch, BYD also prepared demonstration car purchase benefits for young buyers of first-time cars, including the "2-year interest-free" program and "free OTA system upgrade," aiming to maximize cost savings for young families involved in the electric vehicle market.。
In terms of design, the new pose retains the coupe grille shape seen in previous editions。In addition, the Destroyer 05 offers a new body color option called "dark blue," which enhances the overall sense of refinement.。
