CySEC revokes CIF authorization for Fintailor Investments
The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has revoked the authorisation of Fintailor Investments Ltd. as a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF).
The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has revoked the Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) authorization of Fintailor Investments Ltd.
The decision was made at a meeting of the regulatory authority on April 15, 2024, and announced today. This regulatory action was taken in accordance with the provisions of Article 8(1)(a) of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2017 and Directive DI87-05, Article 4(7).
CySEC noted that the revocation reflects Fintailor Investments' explicit decision to relinquish its CIF license.
At the time of writing this article, all approved domains operated by the company are inaccessible.
Earlier in 2024, CySEC announced a settlement agreement with Fintailor Investments Ltd.
The settlement covers potential violations of the 2007 Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Law and CySEC's issued Directive on the Prevention and Combating of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing. The investigation leading to the settlement involved assessing the company's compliance between 2016 and 2019.
