FCA confirms Blankstone Sington Ltd has entered special management phase under court order。
The UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has confirmed that Blankstone Sington Limited has entered into special management proceedings under a court order.。
Andrew Poxon, Alex Cadwallader and Hilary Pascoe of Leonard Curtis were appointed Joint Special Administrators。
BSL is a wealth management firm authorised by the FCA and a member of the London Stock Exchange。The directors of the company decided to exercise special management of the company and applied to the court for the relevant order。
On 16 November 2021, the FCA took interim measures to prevent BSL from disposing of or reducing the value of its own assets, accepting new client funds or new custody assets from existing clients, and opening new client accounts without the FCA's written consent.。
