SFC warns ATG Algorithm to offer unauthorized investment products
Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) warns public over unauthorized investment product involving gold CFD investment system。
The Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong (SFC) today warned the public of unapproved investment products involving a gold CFD investment system called "2023 New Intelligent AI Gold EA Automatic Trading System," which is not authorized by the SFC to be offered to the public in Hong Kong and is suspected of violating the Securities and Futures Ordinance.。
The SFC noted that the team of a Telegram group called "ATG Algorithm Trade Group" (ATG) operates the product and promotes the product through ATG and its team's public accounts or channels on Telegram and Instagram.。
The product and its related information were included in the SFC's Suspicious Investment Product Alert List on December 11, 2023.。
The public should beware of investing in any investment product that is not approved by the SFC。As these products are not regulated by the SEC, their investors receive no or very limited protection and may lose their entire investment。
The SFC is investigating and will take further action on any offences。
