Driving experience
Our test car is a dual-motor all-wheel drive Z10, equipped with a 310 kW rear motor and a 270 kW front motor, with a total power of 580 kW and a maximum torque of 810 Nm。It is worth mentioning that when testing the Z10, the Flyme Auto software was still a beta version, and the autopilot function was disabled during the test drive.。
In comfort mode, the Z10 will slightly adjust the ride height and soften the front suspension, thereby enhancing overall ride comfort。The dual-chamber air suspension and CDC system effectively manage the bounce of the vehicle and provide stability, even during bumps。With thinner 21-inch Michelin tires, the driving is smooth, the bumps are obvious, and there is no harsh feeling。This setting is suitable for daily commuting and provides a refined driving experience。Despite the relaxed manner, the steering response and accuracy are significantly better than Zeekr 007 (see specifications)。The dual-motor system provides excellent acceleration and effortless overtaking。
Switching to Sport mode leads to a more aggressive driving experience。The throttle response becomes direct and unfiltered, providing a direct link between the driver's input and the vehicle's acceleration。Hardened chassis enhances road feel and agility at high speeds。However, this mode may highlight small defects in the road, making it less suitable for uneven surfaces。
In "Sports" mode, Z10 achieves the best performance。Dashboard turns red for most dynamic settings。The throttle response is very positive, and the electronic stability system uses a more relaxed method to optimize the grip on winding roads。The suspension is lowered and becomes very strong, making road defects more obvious and may make passengers feel uncomfortable。
This top-spec Z10 reminds us of the BMW 5 Series, which combines excellent space, luxurious features and strong driving power。Compared with Zeekr 001, the new LinkedIn Z10 incorporates LinkedIn's sporty DNA, while Zeekr 001 is tuned for comfort。
