Lynk & Co flagship L946 found tested again and in motion
New spy photos of upcoming Lynk & Co flagship SUV revealed, currently codenamed L946。Different from the picture we brought you last time
New spy photos of upcoming Lynk & Co flagship SUV revealed, currently codenamed L946。Unlike the picture we brought you last month, the new picture, although still heavily camouflaged, shows the complete body of the car from the front and back。
- 广告 -As can be seen from the spy photos, the car is obviously a large SUV, which may be larger than the brand's 09 EM-P models。The car is also expected to be a plug-in hybrid, with target markets for models such as Li L9 and Aito M9。
Since the car is so heavily camouflaged, we can barely see its features。However, we can say that the car appears to have relatively straight, square lines。There seems to be a q in front with a large grille and an air inlet below it。These elements may look similar to the style adopted on Lynk & Co 09 EM-P。
- 广告 -Depending on the size of the vehicle, we expect it to adopt a 3-row design。From the side, we can see that there is a considerable window area around the rear passenger door, but other than that, everything is strictly camouflaged。Behind, we can almost see a small spoiler, which completes the roof line。
As with the previous spy photos, we can see that the car is equipped with lidar。However, the wheels of the car that was found to be tested are different from the previously parked car, which uses an unusual-looking 10-spoke wheel。Other features include frameless side mirrors
The new car uses Volvo's Scalable Product Architecture (SPA), which also supports cars such as Volvo XC90, Volvo EX 90 and Polestar 3。
- 广告 -According to the new spy photos, the previously released renderings of Sugar Design may look far from the actual design of the new car。Given that the Lynk & Co 09 EM-P (see specifications) has dimensions of 5042, 1977 and 1780 mm (length / width / height) and a wheelbase of 2984 mm, we can expect the new car to be larger。
Assuming the car does use a PHEV powertrain, its settings may be similar to Lynk & Co 08 EM-P or 09 EM-P。Take 08 (see specifications) as an example, it uses 1.5T engine with a power of 120 kilowatts, an electric motor of 160 kilowatts, and a combined system with a total power of 280 kilowatts。The 09 EM-P uses a more powerful 2.0T engine with a power of 187 kilowatts, a total power of 256 kilowatts for three motors, and a total system power of 408 kilowatts。
Lynk & Co, a brand co-owned by Volvo and Geely, has been rapidly electrifying its product range in recent years.。Initially, this means a PHEV version of the existing model, but the latest model will either be launched only as a PHEV, or an all-electric Z10 will be launched from this year。The L946 is expected to launch next year.。
