ESMA withdraws authorization for Euronext MiFIR data reporting

ESMA has revoked Euronext Paris SA's authorisation as a data reporting service provider (DRSP).。

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has withdrawn its mandate for Euronext Paris SA as a data reporting service provider (DRSP) under the Markets in Financial Instruments Regulation (MiFIR).。

Euronext is authorized as both the "Endorsement Reporting Mechanism" and the "Endorsement Publication Arrangement" under MiFIR from 3 January 2018。

MiFIR stipulates that ESMA shall revoke the authorization of DRSP in the event that the DRSP expressly waives the authorization。ESMA's decision to withdraw was made after Euronext notified its intention to waive the authorization under the conditions set out in MiFIR Article 27e (a)。

All Euronext customers have switched to other authorised DRSPs, or started reporting transactions directly to national authorities.。ESMA has updated the list of EU-authorized DRSPs。
