FCA cancels Apex Legal Limited's licence to carry out regulated services

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has cancelled Apex Legal Limited's Part 4A licence。The license is effective from January 5, 2024。
The Financial Conduct Authority took this action because it believes the company did not carry out regulated activities in connection with Part 4A licensing.。
Apex Legal was authorized by the FCA on 1 September 2016 and has a Part 4A license to carry out the following regulated activities:
Arrange (facilitate) investment transactions;
Assist in the management and performance of insurance contracts.
◇ Conducting investment transactions as an agent.
make arrangements for investment transactions; and
Consent to conduct regulated activities。
The FCA issued two notices to the company stating that the regulator did not believe the company was carrying out regulated activities in connection with the Part 4A licence; the regulator recommended that the company's Part 4A licence be cancelled。
Apex Legal did not take the steps specified in the notice。
As a result, the EAA decided to cancel the company's Part 4A licence。
