FCA Cancels Part 4A License for Albany Financial Advisors
Albany Financial Advisors' Part 4A license revoked and no longer entitled to conduct any regulated activities。
The UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has decided to revoke Albany Financial Advisors Limited's Part 4A licence, which no longer has the right to carry out any regulated activities.。
The AFC was licensed by the FCA on December 9, 2015 and licensed under Part 4A to carry out the following activities in connection with designated investments:
- Advising on investments (except pension transfers and pension opt-outs)
Arrange (facilitate) investment transactions
arranging investment transactions
Companies must submit returns to the FCA by the relevant deadline。However, Albany failed to submit。The FCA therefore considers that Albany failed to provide the Authority with the requested information as required by the Manual.。
In August 2023, the FCA issued a warning to the company that it was not conducting regulated activities related to its Part 4A license.。Unless Albany takes further action, the FCA will cancel its Part 4A licence on 31 August 2023.。
The FCA then decided to cancel Albany's Part 4A license, effective August 31, 2023.。
