Meta's AI Studio Transforms Searching Industry
AI Studio is expected to boost Meta revenue and change access to "professional information"
On July 29, Meta launched a new tool named AI Studio, which allows users to create, share, and design their own AI chatbots.
AI Studio will support users and creators across Meta's platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Threads) to use these AI characters as personal assistants for responding to messages and comments. Currently, it is only available to users in the United States.
AI Studio is based on Meta's recently released Llama 3.1 large language model, offering chatbot functionalities.
Other large language model development companies are also advancing the depth and breadth of their existing models. Previously, it was reported that OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT, is working on a project codenamed "Strawberry," aimed at enabling ChatGPT not only to generate query answers but also to autonomously browse the internet and conduct what OpenAI describes as "deep research."
