According to online reports, Belgium's "Echo" recently published a commentary by the newspaper's deputy editor-in-chief Quadbash, criticizing the United States 'so-called "reciprocal tariffs" are triggering a global crisis and putting the international rule system at risk of deconstruction. A commentary in the Echo newspaper stated that the core logic of the U.S. government's tariff policy is to "reshape trade through violent means," which has led to the "disappearance of existing international economic and trade rules." The United States is dragging the least developed countries into an "absurd tariff war", and these most vulnerable groups will become the biggest victims.
