Former Yale football player Bo Hines will serve as White House digital asset policy adviser
Online reports that 29-year-old Bo Hines will serve as the White House digital asset policy adviser, responsible for coordinating communication between the cryptocurrency industry and the government. Hines will work under the leadership of David Sacks, the new U.S. special adviser on artificial intelligence and cryptocurrencies, and is expected to manage a team of 2-3 employees. Previously, the former Yale University football player had twice failed to run for a seat in the North Carolina Congress. During his campaign, he promised to deregulate the cryptocurrency industry and suggested establishing a national bitcoin reserve.
