According to online reports, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics revised the number of new non-agricultural jobs in November from 212,000 to 261,000; and revised the number of new non-agricultural jobs in December from 256,000 to 51,000 to 307,000. After the revision, the total number of new jobs created in November and December was 100,000 higher than before the revision. The average monthly increase in non-farm payrolls in the United States in 2024 was revised from 186,000 to 166,000.
